On Wednesday 30th March we organised a trip to Edinburgh for the young people of St Columba's High School. Four adults and 16 young people. Our first stop of the day was The Real Mary King's Close. We split into two groups, 8 schoolies and 2 adults per group. It proved to be quite a scary tour and everyone really enjoyed the visit. Above is a photograph taken at the end of the tour of Group Number 1.

A big success!

On Thursday the 17th of March we held our first Exhibition with the pupils from St Columba's. The day was an absolutely great success, with over 70 guests coming through the doors to have a look at the pictures on show! We had visits from the current team, owner Douglas Ray, Chairman Gillian Donaldson & the all time legend Alan McGraw!

John Wood Street Exhibition

With the exhibition fast approaching we thought we'd give you a look at the poster, the invite and a sneek peek at some of the exhibition pieces that have been kindly donated by Cha Haliday.

This is the poster and invitation design chosen by the young people of S3 ASDAN St Columba's for the Exhibition.

They wanted the invite to represent a football match ticket, where the ticket would be torn on entry to represent gaining admission to the ground.

The poster is modelled around a programme design previously used by the team.

Now, after opening the boxes handed in by Mr. Haliday we simply couldn't resist uploading a few images to give you a bit of an idea of the sort of goodies we'll have on display.

Hampden Photos. *Image Heavy*

Here are some photos from the Hampden Trip. Due to a slight mishap with the cameras, these were taken on my Blackberry! So if the quality isn't great, I apologise!

Guided tour begins in the Changing Room Facilities!

We then all moved into the warm up ground! Everyone had a shot at scoring a goal:

Then we were going outside to the park, this is the tunnel:
